My reading spots are:
- The day bed - Because it is firm and comfy.
- Mum and Dad's King Sized Water-Bed - Because it is a KING-SIZED WATER BED !
- My Bed - Because it is my bed.
- Clare's bed - To annoy her.
- Bridie's Bed - because it is soft and close to the book box
- Couch No.1,2 and 3 - Because they are soft and comfy and nice
- The 2 table's - Because then I can eat and read at the same time
- the double seats - Because they give you a good view of the palm trees
- The Car - So I can finish exciting books while we drive
Sounds like you found every feasible spot in the house! ;) How wonderful to have so many reading places. My favourite place to read is tucked up in bed while I'm feeding Heidi. Mums generally have to do two things at once! Sometimes when Heidi is asleep, I sit at the table and eat something while I read a book. I try to pick books that are as yummy as the food! I am sure you know what I mean. What are you reading at the moment?
ReplyDeleteWhen your comment came in I was reading 'It's all Greek to me.', But recently I have been reading 'A wrinkle in time', the third 'Nanny Piggins', Tintin, Asterix, etc, etc. 'A wrinkle in time' was a little hard to understand but it was good anyway. The 5th dimension bit was hard to understand. How is Heidi?
ReplyDeleteWho wrote 'It's all Greek to me'? I loved to read Tintin comics when I was about 10. Have you read the Hazel Green books by Odo Hirsch? Regarding 'A Wrinkle in Time', it is a funny idea, isn't it! I suppose it is not all that different from books about magic and time travel, etc, but in L'Engle's story she gives it a name and puts it under the title of a 5th dimension. Do you know what the dimensions are, in the real world?
ReplyDeleteHeidi is very well thank you :) She is starting to walk now and she also says "Baby" and "Da" and "Mamamamamamamama"! (Never just once or twice, it has to be repeated a lot!) She will be one year old in 5 days. I can hardly believe it. When is your birthday?
